Frodo Baggins is the son of Drogo and the adopted heir of Bilbo Baggins. Frodo received the ring of power from Bilbo Frodo journeyed to Rivendell, where Frodo was named Ringbearer and was make a part of the Fellowship of the Ring. He traveled through Moria and Lorien with the Fellowship before leaving them and going to Mordor with Sam, his servant. On the way, they encountered Gollum, the former bearer of the Ring. Frodo eventually passed over the sea on September 22, 1421 SR.
