Legolas Greenleaf

Son of Thranduil, King of Mirkwood. He is a Silvan prince, chosen to represent the race of Elves in the Fellowship of the Ring. He befriended Gimli, son of Gloin and member of the Fellowship. The two formed a strong friendship rarely seen between those of elvish and dwarvish blood. He passed into the West in the 120^th year of the Fourth Age.
